From your ribs Adam, I was made.
In your glory, my existence shall fade.

In moments of bliss, when into your beautiful face I stared,
I saw light...blazing fire...melting darkness...
And in their warmth I burned...
Burned like a piece of coal.
Like a forest fire raging through me.
You burnt me to ashes.
I burnt to ashes, myself.
You arose in flames.
I drowned in flames.

In moments of reverence, when on my knees I fell,
I saw naked truth...staring back...stripping me naked too...
And in the nakedness, I hid myself...
Hid myself from your prying eyes...
Hid my imperfectness from perfect you...

For from your ribs Adam, I was made.
And to perfect you, I shall fade.
